SMEs and individual clients

Running a company means that Companies House obligations are always somewhere on your list – confirmation statements, register updates, director changes, share transactions. They are rarely urgent enough to feel like a priority, and rarely simple enough to handle without care. Left to accumulate, small administrative gaps can create real complications: director liability, difficulties on a future investment round, or problems issuing shares, to name but a few.

ProSec exists to take all of this off your desk entirely. We handle your annual confirmation statement, maintain your statutory registers, process IDV codes for directors and PSCs, and manage the full range of Companies House filings – on fixed, transparent fees, with a dedicated Account Manager who knows your business.

In practice

We have seen what happens when these things are left too long. A company director contacted us after realising that the company's Companies House filings had fallen out of step with the internal registers. The discrepancies were creating real risk – potential director liability, complications on a planned investment and difficulties issuing outstanding shares.

We began with a CoSec MOT - a forensic audit of every filing since incorporation. We then prioritised each issue before working through an action list to remove incorrect filings from Companies House, submit any corrections and create an accurate set of statutory registers. In this case we also produced a new cap table and issued the shares they had been unable to previously. The result was that the company moved from a position of statutory risk to having a clean and accurate record – and, having seen the value in the service we provide, they have asked ProSec to continue to manage their ongoing CoSec needs.

If any of this sounds familiar, it is worth a conversation.
